Interested in booking a project? Just fill out the form below! Give as much detail as possible to keep things running smoothly. I’m usually booked in advance, so let me know your deadlines. If you’re nice, I might be able to squeeze you in. (Mean people need not apply at all.)

Interested In Licensing My Art? Thrilled to hear that! As bureaucratic as it may seem, there's a separate form for that. Just head over to this page to file your inquiry.

General Question? Peruse the FAQ at the bottom of this page—it might already have the answer you're after! If not, shoot me an email at hello @ shelbywarwood.com. Just a heads up, if you're after a quote or have a detailed project question, I'll send you straight back to the inquiry form. We wouldn't want that, now would we?

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with clients who crave that vintage or feminine vibe and aren't afraid to splash some color. Take a peek at the portfolio—if you can envision your project fitting right in, we're destined to be a great match.

If you come to me with a project that might not quite align, fear not! I might just know the perfect designer to make your dreams a reality.

  • It depends on my current project queue, which can vary greatly throughout the year. I'm usually booked out about a month or so in advance. Depending on the types of projects I'm currently handling, I can sometimes juggle a few at a time, but it's ultimately up to the freelance gods to decide what I'm working on at any given moment.

  • The project timeline is tailored to your specific needs and my current workload. While a simple illustration might take just a week, a branding project could span several weeks—it all depends.

  • I might just manage to slot you in earlier if it's urgent. A rush fee might be in the cards depending on the project. My minimum turnaround time is typically 3 weeks, allowing for ongoing projects and a life beyond my computer screen. But hey, if your project is fun and your budget knows no bounds, I'm willing to transform into a studio goblin for a spell.

  • Alright, the big, cringey question! Most projects are split into two payments. Your initial payment, of 50% of the project cost, serves as a non-refundable deposit, securing your spot in our schedule and kicking off our collaboration. It's crucial to make this payment promptly to avoid losing the next available slot.

No design or ideation begins prior to receiving the first payment.

The remaining payment is due upon finalization of the design but before the delivery of final files. All transactions are securely processed through my Honeybook portal, which accepts payments via credit card or ACH/bank transfer. While Paypal is available, it's not my preferred method.

For larger projects, payments may be further divided at your request. Should you have any specific questions or require different payment accommodations, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • My quote typically covers up to 2 rounds of revisions, as detailed in your contract. Should you desire additional revisions, we can adjust the contract to accommodate them, potentially increasing the project cost. Alternatively, extra revisions can be billed at an hourly rate and will be reflected in your final invoice. Time is money folks!

  • In short, I’d rather not. Generally speaking, professionals in any field deserve fair compensation for their work.

The long answer? Well, maybe. If your company is saving dogs, elephants, or especially tiny owls, you might just melt my girl boss heart. It would take a truly special circumstance for me to dedicate my precious evenings and weekends without any pay.

I'm all for backing fellow creatives, so if there's a chance for us to exchange services that benefit us both, let's have a convo.

However, if you think that "exposure" is a valid form of payment, you can take a long walk off a short pier.

  • I see to it that every project I take on is seen through from concept to its grand debut. So, if you're implementing your final deliverables and find yourself needing any assistance, have a question, or a quick file change, feel free to reach out! If you find yourself needing extra help beyond my usual support, I'm happy to offer hourly rates for smaller tasks and specialized expertise.
